Nail that Interview

There comes a moment when all of our studying and life experiences lead us to one fateful moment- the job interview.

While your palms may be sweating just thinking about a job interview, Lauren give stellar advice for any interview that may come your way.

Pro-tip #1: Dress for success.

What outfit are you confident in or makes you want to do an Emma twirl? Wear that. Just remember to keep it professional. Lauren's go-to outfit: a white blouse and khaki skirt.

Pro-tip #2: Chin up, buttercup.

Posture is key to setting the tone for an interview. Slouching can make you appear uninterested or lacking in confidence so remember to keep your back straight and your head held high.

Pro-tip #3: Eyes are the windows to soul.

Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "The eyes of men converse as much their tongues." Eye contact is critical in demonstrating your interest in what is being said.

There may be moments when little butterflies of nerves start to make their appearance, but don't worry we've all been there! Just remember these tips, take a few deep breaths and you're certain to make a lasting impression!
